Today was a very long day for sure. We left Lake Winnipeg with plans to camp outside of Thunder Bay. Now I remember, this is a very LONG LONG drive and very boring. Honestly there was nothing to report of interest today other than my Blackberry seems to have lost it ability to connect to the cell services. We realized how much we use the cell service to look up places to stay and information about where we are at any time. We were concerned that the weather in Thunder Bay would be raining and that would mean a hotel rather than the campsite. We were not able to check the weather online or search for a great hotel to stay. It was raining and even though it is a long weekend, we were able to find a hotel room.
There are many things I am sure to explore on this route, but it just did not appeal to us today. Especially with the very long drive. Therefore, this blog is short, to the point and lacks pictures. Hopefully tomorrow will be better as we look at finding a Bell store and getting on to Sault Ste Marie.
